Synchro Placements
- Thank you to all of the skaters who came to synchro placements last week. It looked like the girls had fun and worked hard with skaters of all ages.
- The coaches and I will be working together in the next couple of months to decide on teams and which skaters will be on each team. There is still a lot of uncertainty on what teams we will have for next year as we want to make sure skaters are placed on a team that works best for them and the entire team.
- Any new rules for skating are announced by USFSA by June 1, so we will not announce teams until after that date, in case any new rules are made that would affect the teams we have. We do not anticipate any major changes at this time.
Training and placements for our 2024-2025 season teams have taken place. Team selections will be made and communicated by June 2024.

Northern Lights Synchronized Skating Team Information
The Northern Lights Synchronized Skating Teams represent The Northern Lights Figure Skating Club and field a full range of teams each season for skaters of all levels. The Northern Lights strive to create a program in which skaters are inspired to challenge themselves both individually and as a team, while enjoying the benefits of a competitive team sport.
The Northern Lights are NLFSC's competitive and non competitive synchronized skating teams. The number and level of teams varies from year to year based on the number and level of skaters who try out to participate on our teams, but there are generally three or four teams competing annually with skaters who range in age from age 6 to 18.
Placements for each season are held in the spring.
